SERVICES : We provide architectural services to small businesses, institutions and developers. The site can be a plot of land, a building to be refurbished or extended, or a building to be demolished and replaced entirely.

WHY YOU MIGHT NEED AN ARCHITECT : Involving an architect an early stage allows you to more accurately assess a site's potential. Our full service of design and construction advice is tailored to suit your needs; this is achieved by offering a mix of fixed design fees and hourly charges (with limits agreed in advance) for all or some of the stages.

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE : Most of our work is local and our strength is in understanding the traditional buildings occupied by local businesses. Successful development projects have included hotels, restaurants and bars, complex alterations to listed offices and an extension to a local supermarket; the budgets have ranged up to £1m.

SPECIALIST EXPERTISE : Traditional buildings are well understood by us (Andrew has trained with the Society for the Preservation of Ancient Buildings). As part of our practice's Green Credentials we also use timber construction and solar heating where appropriate. Whatever suits your project is what matters.
