Previously a partner in Johnston & Mather, Andrew Catto started an independent architectural office in 1999 to provide a complete high quality architectural service for residential and commercial new build, alteration and restoration projects, with an emphasis on matching efficient planning with stylish design, buildability and energy efficiency.

We have grown mainly by personal recommendation, now have four staff and aim to provide a full range of services from initial design ideas through to sourcing and dealing with builders on site.

We are the Putney wing of architectyourhome, which aims to bring a more responsive, customer friendly way of working to the delivery of architectural services for homeowners.

We regularly work with and understand traditional buildings, from the listed to more modest houses, underpinned by Andrew’s training with the Society for the Preservation of Ancient Buildings. But we’re also currently using timber cladding, building a grass roof and installing solar heating. The practice is also one of the few locally included on The Green Register of construction professionals. Whatever suits your project is what matters.
